Bottega has recently acquired the latest technology in wine-by-the-glass from France. Le Verre de Vin will soon be the standard in South Africa but with Bottega being some of the first restaurants in Johannesburg to make use of the system; it allows us to become one of the places in Jozi to sample different wines and cultivars from all over our fantastic country by the glass.
This innovative technology is able to preserve open bottles of still and sparkling wine for up to three weeks with no loss of flavour, bouquet or sparkle. This system has been endorsed internationally and in South Africa by leading wine producers as well as distributors to ensure that you get the finest glass of wine every time you order “by the glass”.
Bottega can now offer a comprehensive list of Premium wines and champagne “par verre” to meet the needs of their guests, enabling you to enjoy a number of different wines with you meal or simply match wines with your different courses.
